This Fall the Fish ‘N Fest will take place in Charleston, South Carolina October 7 – 10, 2021, and it is SOLD OUT!
After over a year of living in a bubble, it’s time to break out and experience a weekend of Fishing, Food and Fun!
Charleston is an excellent fall fishing destination, with great inshore and nearshore fishing. The speckled trout, redfish and bull drum will be on the prowl throughout the five river system and Charleston Harbor. Charleston is also a great vacation destination…rich with history, its famous lowcountry cuisine, and southern hospitality.
Charleston is a prime vacation and fishing destination, and that means it’s super busy this time of year. We have a limited number of available slots for fishing, accommodations and banquet seating. So don’t delay getting in your registration form and banquet reservations. Once these are gone, that’s it…and you’ll just have to wait until the Spring 2022 Fish ‘N Fest.
Fish ‘N Fest events are not fishing tournaments. Instead, it’s a long weekend for participants to discover a unique fishing destination and explore the area amenities while making friends on the water. You don’t need to own (or bring) a boat to experience the fun of saltwater fishing at a Fish ‘N Fest. We engage the services of local professional fishing guides to give our attendees a wonderful time on the water. Of course, if you want to bring your boat, these same guides will offer tips and contemporary knowledge on where, and how, to fish the area.
Thursday October 7 is our Welcome Banquet where you can reconnect with friends from past Fish ‘N Fest events; and make new friends of the first-time attendees we call Fish ‘N Fest Freshmen.
The guided fishing days are Friday October 8, and Saturday October 9. Lots of folks come early and fish on their own, or stay a couple days after to enjoy the other attractions in Charleston, like touring the Yorktown aircraft carrier museum, or exploring the Battery and historic downtown district.
Saturday night is the Celebration Banquet where we hand out the coveted First-To-Chum Award, and crown the inshore and nearshore Kahunas of the weekend.
Our accommodations blocks are at the Charleston SpringHill Suites Downtown/Riverview, and the Residence Inn Charleston Downtown/Riverview. Both of them have given us a great rate of $189.00 per night (and that’s an awesome rate for Charleston in the fall). They are located side-by-side at the area called Ripley Light, and they are just a few hundred feet from the marina where we will gather each morning for fishing.
So, for those of you who are registered… we’ll see you October 7 – 10!
This is the most fun you can have on, or off, the water! See you there!
