Mark your calendars, and get your registrations in because the Spring 2022 Fish ‘N Fest is going to be a blast!  We’re headed back to St. Augustine, Florida June 23 – 26, 2022!  Download Registration Form

Summertime is prime-time for king mackerel, cobia, sailfish and all the inshore species in the beautiful waters off St. Augustine.   Our Fish ‘N Fest gang hauled in some outstanding catches the last time we were here, and it should be another great year this year.

Beyond the awesome fishing, St. Augustine is a wonderful destination off the water too.  This is America’s Oldest City, and it’s full of historical and cultural attractions like The Fountain of Youth, Castillo San Marcos, The Old Jail, and much more.  Plus the historic district is home to hundreds of shops, restaurants and watering holes.

Fish ‘N Fest events are not fishing tournaments.  Instead, it’s a long weekend for participants to discover a unique fishing destination and explore the area amenities while making friends on the water.  You don’t need to own (or bring) a boat to experience the fun of saltwater fishing at a Fish ‘N Fest.  We engage the services of local professional fishing guides to give our attendees a wonderful time on the water.  Of course, if you want to bring your boat, these same guides will offer tips and contemporary knowledge on where, and how, to fish the area.

The Spring ’22 Fish ‘N Fest kicks off with the Welcome Banquet on Thursday night, where you can reconnect with friends from past Fish ‘N Fest events; and make new friends of the first-time attendees we call Fish ‘N Fest Freshmen.

The guided fishing days are Friday June 24th, and Saturday June 25th.   Lots of folks come early and fish on their own, or stay a couple days after to enjoy all the attractions St. Augustine has to offer, or just hang out at the beach.

Saturday night is the Celebration Banquet where we hand out the coveted First-To-Chum Award, and crown the inshore and nearshore Kahunas of the weekend.  Chef Bill will be cooking up something special when we gather at the Northeast Florida Marlin Assn. Clubhouse adjacent to the marina.

We have an accommodations block at the Magic Beach Motel on Vilano Beach, just a mile or so from Camachee Island Marina.  The Magic Beach Motel is a step back into yester-year.  Quaint, cozy, and embodied with decor reminiscent of the 60’s.  Rates for a two bedroom suite are around $200 per night, and a king bed suite will run about $160 per night.  That’s really good for St. Augustine in the summer!  Give them a call to book your rooms NOW…(904) 342-5263.

So, for those of you who are registered… we’ll see you June 23 – 26!

This is the most fun you can have on, or off, the water!  See you there!
